The ACA (Association of Consulting Actuaries) had bespoke requirements for a website to act as a searchable source and repository for publications, policy reviews and responses, trade magazines and news, with different sections for members and non-members, that they could edit themselves.
None of the Content Management Systems (CMS) in 2006/07 were up to the job, so Control B hand-coded an entire in-situ CMS with document uploading and an integrated document search engine. The design was clear, crisp and functional, and proved to be very popular with the members of the ACA.
The website was redesigned and rebuilt by Control B with WordPress in 2016, making it responsive and more mobile-friendly.
