Talking Scents is a range of luxurious products with feel-good fragrances, and the company required a cool, modern and clear web site in which to promote and sell them.

The design for the layout was kept a stylish monochrome, as each fragrance has its own signature colour - an overabundance of tones not directly related to the product was therefore deliberately avoided.

A bespoke shopping cart and order fulfilment system was created and integrated with WorldPay in order to allow secure credit card purchases to be made online. This is backed up by a similarly bespoke stock and order control system - also online, and also very secure. It allows Talking Scents to change stock availability at the click of a mouse, and to keep track of who has ordered what, who has paid, who has yet to pay, and whose orders are ready for shipment.

The site has been very well-received, not least for the highly evocative vignette images designed by Control B. Talking Scents has since been promoted on television as well as being featured in the papers, and is now available to buy at Harvey Nichols in Knightsbridge, London.
