CRF Inc. are a Finnish company who are promoting and developing the use of portable electronic data capture devices in medical research.

Keeping the existing content, Control B rebuilt the site in PHP to allow easier updates in the future. Through the use of dynamic templating, common items - the menus, the branding, general layout - can be kept separate from the unique content of a page, and yet can be personalised by the equivalent of flicking a switch.

Different people respond to different stimuli, and yet all need to be catered for to keep them on any given web site. With this in mind, the CRF Inc. homepage was designed as a highly intuitive portal to the content therein. Giant photo buttons were used alongside feature article links and an animated PDA to complement the regular navigation, and this has helped to keep visitors on the site for longer.

A Content Management System was created to handle the regular update of news and events, and animated Flash elements were used to demonstrate the company’s products, as well as their growing global eminence.
