Working with another graphic designer and using a framework with no instructions left by the previous developer, Control B managed to create a completely new look for the new venue’s site. It integrates seamlessly with the company’s existing online booking system which itself integrates with SagePay for online credit card payments.

Control B also extended the framework’s use of jQuery for Javascript-based animations and lightbox effects, and provided Twitter retweet and Facebook Like/Share buttons automatically generated for each new link.

We are also delighted to be back in the Karaoke Box business, having been the company’s original web developers and now replacing the previous developer whilst also providing a monthly technical support package.

Control B is delighted to announce a little job for Harrow childminders Jack and Jill on the Hill.

Although confined by the restraints of an existing third-party WYSIWYG-based framework with limited functionality, Control B still managed to delight the client with design and functionality improvements within a small budget.

Based around a robust database-backed Content Management System, the new FranklynTherapy web site is easily updatable by members of the practice. It also contains a feed to psychotherapist Frank Franklyn’s Twitter feed embedded in the site.

The branding, the logo device and all images and headlines were designed and copywritten in-house by Control B as part of the original spec for the overall web design. These were all produced to effect a feeling of calm, welcome and understanding.

FranklynTherapy are delighted with the new site, and Control B looks forward to working with the practice further to increase their web site visitor numbers and retention.

Virtual Assistance Services (VAS)

VAS provide highly competitive office and personal assistant services, freeing their clients from the tasks that would otherwise eat into their day.

HMS are responsible for all music tuition offered by the council to all the schools in the borough. Their new web site is backed by a powerful Content Management System allowing them to make changes as and when they see fit.

Galleries of past events and concerts are also available, as well as a calendar of upcoming events. There is also a staff resources section for teachers to log in to.

Designed in conjunction with graphic artist Christine Russell, the site is built using Joomla! with the Virtuemart e-commerce component and associated modules, providing Atlas Ceramics with a robust content management system allowing them to update contents and products themselves.

Elsewhere on the web, Atlas are offering advice on tile-related topics such as removing tiles, underfloor heating, Travertine floor tiles and polished floor tiles. All these contain backlinks to their site, improving their visibility and the amount of web traffic they can receive.

Brett Lake-Benson, owner, celebrated in a very small way as he is still celebrating the birth of his daughter Evangeline, who is only six days old herself.

Having won the tender for the second time, we developed a CMS-based web site using a visual concept by Blind Mice Design of Coventry, who also designed the new HAC logo. The new content management system gives the client excellent control over their content and its presentation.

Importantly for the HAC, we have integrated an events management system with a third party booking system from IRIS. The events are automatically unpublished when past, and code has been rewritten for various modules in order to comply with the client’s requirements.
